In a 2012 interview with Tat Nation, Ora shared the meaning behind the design while offering a closer look at her massive artwork that stretches across nearly her entire upper arm. "This is my favourite. This is Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of Love. I like Greek mythologies; she was like my favourite goddess, so I just got her tattooed on me." Aphrodite is said to symbolize love, beauty, and passion.
