Selena Gomez is embracing a totally new look. While out in Paris on July 8, the singer and entrepreneur was spotted wearing a popular '60s hairstyle that's recently made a comeback: a flipped lob. With her matching two-piece, black and white houndstooth ensemble, she looks as if she stepped right out of a different decade, and we have to say, it really suits her.

Gomez's usually shaggy, shoulder-length hair was styled straight and sleek with just the ends of her lob flipped outward. The look, created by celebrity hairstylist Orlando Pita, is her modern take on the flipped hair look. It featured lots of volume at the crown of the head and a deep side part with the front of her hair pulled to the side to give the illusion of tucked side bangs.

The retro flipped hairstyle has been around for decades. It was most iconically worn by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Priscilla Presley back in the day, but since, plenty of celebrities have put their spin on it, including Zendaya at Paris Fashion Week back in March and Ariana Grande in her "Positions" music video.

Gomez was visiting a local Sephora store to celebrate her brand Rare Beauty's latest launch: the Kind Words Matte Lipstick and Lip Liners. She even demoed the new lipsticks in a video shared on makeup artist Hung Vanngo's Instagram Story. Keep scrolling to see Gomez's '60s hairstyle from all angles.
