Allison Janney Survived Award Season and All She Got Was "This Lousy T-Shirt" and SO Much More!
Allison Janney has had quite the outstanding year! Over the last few months, she's racked up some much-deserved new awards from her role in I, Tonya and now, she's got a t-shirt to prove it. After winning the Academy Award for best supporting actress, Allison casually went back to work the next day to film her TV show Mom, but her amazing cast knew this wasn't just another Monday — there was an Oscar-winner in the building!
The 58-year-old actress took to social media to give a special shout out to a woman named Chelsea from the show's writing department, who gifted her with an INCREDIBLE t-shirt to celebrate her successful accomplishments. "I survived awards season and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!" the hilarious shirt reads. But the fine print says it all, "AND . . . a Golden Globe, SAG Award, BAFTA, Critics' Choice, Spirit Award, Hollywood Film Award, AACTA International Award, SB Outstanding Performer of the Year, and a freakin' Oscar."
Allison's Mom TV daughter, Anna Faris, also celebrated the outstanding award. "Allison won!!! And I got to hold it!!!! It's heavy as sh*t!!!" she captioned the photo below. Congratulations to Allison — a t-shirt doesn't do ya justice, but the awards definitely do!
