Cue the Awws! Ryan Reynolds Reveals the "Greatest Present" Blake Lively Has Given Him
Ryan Reynolds is known for trolling his loved ones on Instagram, but on Friday, the 42-year-old actor switched things up and took a moment to reflect on "the greatest present" Blake Lively has ever given him. Alongside a photo of a painting by artist Danny Galieote, Ryan explained why the gift means so much to him. "My first job was delivering newspapers for the Vancouver Sun. The house in the painting is my childhood home. My brothers and I spent years trying to kill each other on that lawn," he explained. "There are a lot of Easter eggs in the painting, including my idol, John Candy on the front page of the newspaper. The house no longer stands but it's a living, breathing thing in my head."
It's unclear when Blake gave the piece of art to her husband, but he still couldn't resist teasing her a bit, adding, "If there's ever a fire, I'm grabbing this first. I'll come back for Blake." The painting shows a paperboy delivering newspapers in a residential area with his dog, and it obviously holds a very special place in Ryan's heart.
Ryan and Blake tied the knot in September 2012 and have two daughters together, 4-year-old James and 2-year-old Inez, with another baby on the way! Perhaps this was an early anniversary gift?
