Ellen Page is married! On Wednesday, the actress revealed that she tied the knot with girlfriend Emma Portner by sharing a sweet photo on Instagram. "Can't believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife. @emmaportner," she wrote alongside a picture of their wedding bands. Ellen was first linked to the dancer when they were spotted sharing a kiss last July. Since then, they haven't been shy about showing off their love on social media, so it seems fitting that they would announce their marriage on Instagram.
Ellen came out as gay in February 2014 when she attended the Time to Thrive conference in Las Vegas. "I'm here today because I am gay," Ellen said at the time. "And because maybe I can make a difference." Since her empowering speech, the actress has been an active supporter of LGBTQ+ rights. Congrats again to the happy couple!
