Following the successful release of Crazy Rich Asians over the weekend, Henry (Nicholas Young) and director Jon M. Chu decided to pay it forward and buy out a movie theatre to promote the release of Searching on its opening weekend. "We both decided to buy out a cinema when it comes out and spread the support we have been receiving for CRA #GoldOpen... Can't wait to see it, coming soon!! 🎥❤️," Henry wrote on Instagram.
Searching is another Asian-led film, starring John Cho as a father named David Kim who is desperate to find his 16-year-old daughter after she goes missing. Catch the movie when it hits theatres nationwide on Aug. 31.
