Pete Davidson may wish to avert his eyes, because his current flame, Kate Beckinsale, was busy getting steamy with another man last night. During her appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden, the British actress joined James and fellow guest Milo Ventimiglia in a Bruno Mars-themed episode of "The Bold & The Lyrical," James's soap opera that uses only song lyrics. In the skit, Milo and Kate play lovers who communicate using only Bruno Mars's most famous lines. Given the breadth of the singer's back catalogue, that gives them plenty of opportunity for romantic moments. Milo even gets down on one knee saying, "I think I wanna marry you."
They are, of course, interrupted by James, who fights Milo for Kate's affections, leading the This is Us character to accidentally slip into a few lines from Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's "Shallow," confessing it's been stuck in his head since the Oscars. (Same, Milo, same.) Things come to a head when the lyrics to "Uptown Funk" become fighting talk . . . see for yourself ahead which lover Kate ends up choosing.
