Neil Patrick Harris pulled a Mariah Carey "I don't know her" with Rachel Bloom, and things got awkward real fast. While live-tweeting about the Tony Awards on Sunday night, the Tony Award-winning actor threw some serious shade at the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star, who was serving as the show's backstage host ahead of commercial breaks. "Who is the woman in the top hat backstage at @TheTonyAwards? Gideon remarked that she says 'like' and 'oh my god' a lot," he said referring to his 7-year-old son. "I'm confused . . ."

It didn't take long for Rachel to respond, adding that they have indeed met "numerous times" before. "I'm a big fan of yours," she said. Neil later tried to backpedal by replying, "Indeed! Well said. Thanks for the reminder. How was backstage?" While the exchange was cringeworthy to say the least, we have to admit that Rachel's clap back was nothing short of legen — wait for it — dary!
