There's only one Taylor Swift, and she doesn't have time for reductive interview questions. The 29-year-old singer recently chatted with German TV station RTL about her upcoming seventh album and her new single "Me!," but the conversation took an awkward turn when Taylor was asked if she has started to think about settling down and having kids once she reaches 30.
"I really do not think men are asked that question when they turn 30. So I'm not going to answer that now," she said, according to fan translation.
While Taylor declined to humour that question, she did elaborate on the transition into her next decade. "I definitely plan to try and fail things in my 30s as well. But I expect that in our 30s we feel a little better of who we are. The closer I get to it, the more I feel it happens. Hopefully that will be the case!"
