A lot of women choose not to take their husbands' last names after marriage, and Chrissy Teigen is one of them. If you're looking for a groundbreaking reason behind her decision, though, you won't find one. Chrissy recently weighed in after a tweet that reads, "I'd really like to hear the reasoning behind women who won't take their husband's last name," went viral.

As usual, Chrissy tweeted a hilarious response. "My husband didn't even take his last name?" She's right — in case you weren't aware, John Legend is actually the musician's stage name. His real name is John Stephens, which is why the couple's daughter, Luna Stephens, has that last name.

However, people on Twitter had a lot to say. Chrissy fired back by adding that she's not against taking last names at all, and it wasn't some "grand statement" not to. She also posed a great question: "Why do people care so much?"

Never change, Chrissy!
