While Schitt's Creek may have sadly come to an end, there might still be some celebration left in creator and star Dan Levy's future. During Dan's Tuesday appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, guest host David Spade brought up the "disgusting amount" of Emmy noms the show is up for, which is a total of 15 and includes outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series for Dan. "Canadians don't get this kind of recognition that often, so I'm soaking it in," Dan explained before the pair discussed how he'd be celebrating the virtual ceremony on Sept. 20.
As for what Dan is envisioning, "In my mind it's just a room full of men with cameras and hazmat suits." Hopefully we'll get to see a few familiar Schitt's Creek faces when the cameras roll on Dan, as the actual plan is for his parents to host a backyard BBQ for any cast and crew that are in town. And don't worry, there's also a plan in place to try and trap Catherine O'Hara until the Emmys so she can celebrate with them. You can watch Dan talk about Schitt's Creek, the Emmys, and what it's been like living in Canada in the full video above.
