Gigi Hadid Confirms She's Expecting Her First Child With Zayn Malik: "We Are Very Excited"

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are going to be parents! Earlier this week, news broke that the couple is expecting their first child, and on Thursday, the 25-year-old model confirmed the exciting news on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "We are very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support," Gigi said. "During this time, it's a nice silver lining to be able to be home and together and really experience it day by day."

Gigi's mom, Yolanda Hadid, also recently shared her excitement over becoming a grandma in an interview with Dutch outlet RTL Boulevard. "I'm excited to become a Oma [grandma] in September, especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life: one soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed." According to Entertainment Tonight, Gigi is reportedly having a baby girl.

The news comes just a few days after Gigi celebrated her 25th birthday at home alongside Zayn and her family. The model and the former One Direction singer first struck up a romance in November 2015, and they have been dating on and off ever since.
