J Lo Shares Sweet Serenade Video in Honour of Ben Affleck's 51st Birthday
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are living in a wonderful world. In celebration of Affleck's 51st birthday on 15 Aug., J Lo posted a musical birthday tribute featuring a candid carpool duet. The Instagram video showed the two on the road, singing along to Sam Cooke's "(What A) Wonderful World," with Affleck driving and Lopez filming from the passenger seat. "Dear Ben . . . Happy Birthday. I love you!" she captioned the post as the two belted out song lyrics in the background.
Although Lopez replaced their own voices with the original 1959 track, we already know that the couple shares a deep love for music. As proof, J Lo recently gave an impromptu karaoke performance while on holiday in Italy, and the two also serenaded guests at their 2022 Christmas party (starring Affleck's remarkably heartfelt rendition of John Legend's "By Christmas Eve").
Singing is clearly a big part of Bennifer's love language, but their unplugged celebrations are just as sweet. In her "On the JLo" newsletter, Lopez gave some insider details about the pool party Affleck planned in honour of her own birthday just a few weeks prior. "Ben hosted it at our new house with our closest family and friends," she wrote. "I felt so appreciated and acknowledged by my loved ones, and I'm extremely grateful to be where I am today at this point in my life's journey with so many beautiful, caring people to share it all with."
