Jeremy Renner Attends Rennervations Premiere After Accident

Jeremy Renner had his family by his side at the Los Angeles premiere of his new Disney+ show, "Rennervations," on Tuesday night. He appeared to be in good spirits as he walked the red carpet holding his 10-year-old daughter Ava Berlin Renner's hand. The appearance marked Renner's first red carpet since his snowplow accident in January.

The 52-year-old actor had been saving his nephew Alexander Fries when the accident occurred. In a recent interview with Diane Sawyer, Renner revealed that while lying in the snow after being crushed by a 14,000-pound machine, he thought he was definitely going to die. "If I was there on my own, that would have been a horrible way to die," he said. "And surely it would've. Surely. But I wasn't alone. It was my nephew, sweet Alex, and the rest of the cavalry came."

During a panel at the "Rennervations" premiere, Renner told moderator Jimmy Kimmel that he intends to use the giant snowplow again, according to People. "We got so much snow up there," Renner said. "My mum wants to … light it on fire — and it would be a whole party, lighting it on fire — but no, that thing's amazing. I love this thing."

He added: "It is a necessity, and it's how you get to the house when you've got these giant snowstorms. I just gotta learn to drive it better."

"Rennervations" is a four-part series that centres on Renner's "lifelong passion to give back to communities around the world by reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community's needs," according to Disney. The original series is streaming on Disney+ now.
