Lily Collins Wraps Filming Season 3 of Emily In Paris

Lily Collins Is So "Proud" of "Emily in Paris" as She Reflects on the "Cast I Can Call a Family"

Filming for season three of "Emily in Paris" has officially wrapped, and the star of the show, Lily Collins, has come over all sentimental. The 33-year-old took to Instagram on 28 Sept. to post a carousel of photos of her hanging out with the cast in the French capital, giving fans backstage highlights from the Netflix series.

Collins, who plays Emily Cooper, added her adoration for her costars in the caption. She writes, "Words can't express how many emotions I feel when I finish each @emilyinparis season and this year is no different. We truly have the best, most dedicated crew there is and a cast I can call a family. Thank you for supporting, uplifting, and encouraging endlessly and working tirelessly to make it all happen. I can't wait to share what we've created. Proud doesn't even do it justice. Je vous aime tous!…"

Fans were left with the ultimate cliffhanger as series two left Emily caught in a work and love dilemma. Faced with having to choose between two cities for her career as well as whether to pursue a long-distance relationship with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), who is returning to London, there has been an Eiffel Tower-shaped hole in our lives for months.

For season three, Emily sports new "Birkin bangs" as she cuts her hair to fashion a chic, textured fringe, perhaps to distract from her looming life decisions. The marketing exec's style is as chic as ever as Emily's fans await the next chapter in her story.

The show was first released on Netflix in 2020 and quickly broke records as the "most popular comedy series of 2020" on the streamer, according to Variety. It was also nominated for a number of Emmy and Golden Globe awards, albeit with some criticism, and has since been renewed for a fourth season, so you can rest assured there'll be another dose of that "je ne sais quoi" we've grown to love coming after this season.

Not only has "Emily in Paris" become the must-watch feel-good show we all need right now, but Collins has proved it's a joy to work on, too. Cute selfies with her character's bestie, Mindy (Ashley Park) and friend Camille (Camille Razat), posing in the makeup chair, and snaps in the fancy locations have warmed our hearts.

"Emily in Paris" returns to Netflix for season three on 21 Dec.
