This festive season Lupita Nyong'o is grateful she has found someone she clicks with. On Friday, the "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" star debuted her relationship with sports commentator and television host Selema Masekela on Instagram. Both she and Masekela made things Instagram official by sharing the same video to their respective accounts.

In the video, Nyong'o and Masekela are snapping their fingers in time to "The King's Affirmation" by Iniko and Reuel Williams. Each time they snap, their outfits change — but they remain coordinated and in sync throughout. The "Us" star captioned her post, "We just click! 💘" alongside "#thisismylove" and "#nuffsaid." Meanwhile, on his grid, Masekela captioned his post, "Hearts are synched. My whole and actual love @lupitanyongo. ❤️❤️❤️."

The new couple's famous friends were quick to offer their congratulations in the comments. Tina Knowles-Lawson commented, "You guys look in sync ❤️❤️love it❤️." Janelle Monáe added, "Obsessed 😍😍." Meanwhile, Kehlani commented on Masekela's post, "woooooowwwww i LOVE THISSSSSSS BROOOO."

Seeing Nyong'o share her new relationship with the world is a big deal for the actor's fans. In the past, she's shied away from discussing her dating life. Although she did shut down rumours that she was dating her "Black Panther" costar Michael B. Jordan in 2019. "It's flattering at the end of the day," she told Entertainment Tonight of the rumours. "I think it's such a rare thing to find people you have good chemistry with and too for us to find each other as actors and get to work together, it makes the work richer that we truly enjoy each other's company on and off screen."

In 2019, Nyong'o opened up to Vogue UK about why she preferred to keep the focus on her work, not her private life. "Privacy is a commodity that is hard to come by," she said. "Filming is so time-consuming. And intense. With 'Black Panther,' a lot of us were single. On 'Little Monsters,' nobody was single. Everyone, when they're done with their day's work, wants to go home to their families, which makes a whole lot of sense. When you don't have that it's very isolating."

While it's unclear how long Nyong'o and Masekela have been dating, the fact that the actor is comfortable sharing her relationship with her fans speaks volumes about this new celebrity couple.
