"Strictly Come Dancing"'s Neil Jones and former "Love Island" star Chyna Mills have announced two big milestones: they are engaged and expecting a baby. The couple, who have been dating for 7 months, revealed the exciting news on 2 April. "After the baby news, we were on cloud nine – and now this. It still doesn't feel real," Mills told Hello magazine.
The couple met last summer following Mills's stint on ITV2's "Love Island" where she entered the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell. She coupled up with Jay Younger, but the pair split and were voted off the Island soon after. Jones, 40, who had been watching the reality show while on the "Strictly Come Dancing" tour, slid into Mills's DMs when she left the show and the pair met soon after at a party. They have been together ever since.
"I'd already planned to ask Chyna to marry me before we knew she was pregnant. Then we found out and I was like: 'Oh, this is brilliant, everything is coming together'," Jones added. Although, the nuptials won't be happening for a little while yet. Mills, 24, is 13 weeks pregnant and the couple want their new addition to walk down the aisle. "We thought it would be cute if the baby can be walking around at the wedding," Jones said.
The dancer was previously married to fellow "Strictly Come Dancing" professional, Katya Jones, but the couple split in 2019 after Katya was pictured kissing comedian Seann Walsh, who was also in a relationship at the time. However, the pair who still work together on the BBC show remain friends. Katya wrote on her Instagram stories, shortly after the announcement, "So happy for these two! @mr_njonesoffiicial You deserve all the happiness."
This is the third "Strictly Come Dancing" baby this year. Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton welcomed baby Minnie in January, while Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec announced they are expecting their first child in Feb. It looks like we could have the next generation of professionals coming soon!
