Nick Cannon Jokes About Christmas Shopping For His "Big-Ass Family": "Hell of a Lot of Gifts to Buy"
Nick Cannon is joining in on the joke about his personal baby boom this festive season. On 29 Nov., the soon-to-be father of 12 shared a hilarious YouTube video, sponsored by "Baby Daddy Financial," about his stressful Christmas shopping plans this year (and his contribution to the world's population).
"And based off the baby-mama-to-kid ratio, we got a whole hell of a lot of gifts to buy."
"It's almost the holidays, and thanks to me, the world now has eight billion people. But my job's not done," Cannon says jokingly before gearing up for some online holiday shopping. "And based off the baby-mama-to-kid ratio, we got a whole hell of a lot of gifts to buy."
In the tongue-in-cheek video, Cannon says his "adorable and jovial offspring" gave him a list that asks for everything from the entire Los Angeles Lakers basketball team and 12 PlayStation 5s to a dolphin. "It's going to be a merry motherf*ckin' Christmas," the comedian jokes. "I didn't get none of this stuff as a kid! Know what my daddy got me? A stick! They used to call me Stick Cannon."
By the end of the clip, an exhausted Cannon is nearly passed out on his laptop before he jumps up and asks what his kids plan to buy him for Christmas. "I don't want no more socks, don't give me no ties, and definitely don't make me nothing. What I'm supposed to do with this? Huh, the hell is this?" he asks, holding up handmade "dad" paintings and drawings. "I just framed it because I love you!"
Cannon concludes the video saying, "I quit. Kiss my ass, Christmas," before ending on a jollier note. "Happy holidays from my big-ass family to yours."
Christmas season sure does seem like a hectic time in the Cannon household. The "Masked Singer" host is a dad of 11 — twins Monroe and Moroccan, whom he shares with Mariah Carey; daughter Powerful and sons Golden and Rise, whom he shares with model Brittany Bell; twin boys Zion and Zillion and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, whom he shares with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary, whom he shares with model Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx, whom he shares with model and photographer LaNisha Cole — with another kid on the way with model Alyssa Scott. Cannon and Scott also had a son named Zen, who died of a brain tumour in December 2021.
