Gaga revealed the title of her 2012 album Artpop by getting it inked on her left wrist. She debuted the tat on Instagram in August of 2012 with the caption, "New ink new album." She also added, "make sure when writing about my new album/project ARTPOP that you CAPITALIZE the title," in a tweet.
