Rihanna welcomed her first child, a baby son, on 13 May, 2022, and had only offered a rare glimpse of the youngster on TikTok until this year. That all changed as she graced the cover of British Vogue for its March issue with her adorable youngster and other half, A$AP Rocky. During the cover interview, the songstress was incredibly candid about her journey to motherhood as she admitted that giving birth was a "head f***". She explained: "Essentially, from one person, I became two. You walk into the hospital as a couple and leave as a family of three. It's nuts!"
She added some seriously honest insights into what it was like during those first few weeks. "You're so paranoid. Because you're like: they trusted us to come home with this baby? This new life? With us?" she recalled. "No doctors, no nurses, we're just . . . going home?" After the initial shock of keeping a newborn happy, Rihanna pointed out some relateable moments. "[T]hose first days are insane. You don't sleep. At all. Not even if you wanted to. We came home, cold turkey, had no one. It was just us as parents and our baby. Man, you're a zombie for the most part," she said.
