Rita Ora and Taika Waititi Enjoy a Romantic Date Night at the Sydney Film Festival
Rita Ora and Taika Waititi were all smiles on opening night of the 2023 Sydney Film Festival. On 7 June, the couple enjoyed a romantic date night as they walked hand-in-hand down the red carpet for the world premiere of "The New Boy." "Thank you for having us @sydfilmfest," Ora captioned an Instagram carousel featuring photos of herself and Waititi at the star-studded event.
During the evening, Ora and Waititi were nearly inseparable, holding hands and exchanging sweet embraces while posing for the cameras. At one point, Ora even casted a loving glance at her husband as he smiled under the flashing lights. They also met up with celebrity friends and took a moment after the event to pose beside the State Theatre's historic stage door entrance.
A few months earlier, in March, Ora and Waititi displayed some PDA at the Vanity Fair afterparty following the Academy Awards. During the event, the couple couldn't take their eyes off each other and later shared a romantic kiss in front of photographers. In May, Waititi and Ora also stunned in coordinated outfits at the Met Gala as they ascended the museum's famous staircase.
The pair first revealed their relationship in April 2021. In July of the same year, they made their first public appearance together at Próspero Tequila's Fourth of July rooftop party in Los Angeles. A year later, in August 2022, Ora confirmed that she and Waititi had tied the knot. While their red carpet appearances together are infrequent, it looks like their honeymoon phase is still in full swing.
