Di Martino and Sharpe collaborated again in 2016. That April, the couple starred in the British sitcom "Flowers," which centres on a dysfunctional family as they try to keep their household from falling apart. Di Martino played a musician named Amy Flowers, and Sharpe played a Japanese illustrator named Shun. On top of acting, Sharpe also wrote and directed the series.
Later that month, Sharpe premiered his comedy "The Darkest Universe," which he also wrote, directed, and starred in. In the movie, Sharpe plays a lonely banker named Zac, whose world comes crumbling down after losing his job and his girlfriend, Eva (Di Martino).
