Popsugar Entertainment American Horror Story Apocalypse American Horror Story Apocalypse Season Connection Teasers AHS Hints at Apocalypse Connections to Murder House, Hotel, Cult, and Freak Show 10 September 2018 by Ryan Roschke Image Source: FX Everything is turning to ash at the start of American Horror Story: Apocalypse. As is hinted in the season's official trailer, all bets are off during some kind of insane, radioactive, nuclear event that descends on Los Angeles and (we assume) the rest of the world. In a new series of moving poster teasers, the official AHS Twitter account is showing a universe in ruins: we're seeing the rubble of Murder House, the remains of the freak show once run by Elsa Mars, the decay of Hotel Cortez, and a burnt-up smiley face. Here's the interesting thing about the series of teasers: three seasons are missing — Asylum, Coven, and Roanoke. The omission of Coven isn't a big deal, but does the fact that the latter two are absent signify that the others are important? Will we see threads connecting Apocalypse to Freak Show, Hotel, and Cult? That certainly seems to be what this collection is suggesting . . . unless FX's social media intern missed a few files during the posting process. Either way, let's take a look at the ruinous teasers and see what we can come up with. All is ash. #AHSApocalypse pic.twitter.com/Jee0yTbq7I— AmericanHorrorStory (@AHSFX) September 7, 2018 There it is, the place where it all started. But since we've seen the Rubber Man in the trailer for Apocalypse, we have to assume this is where Outpost #3 is, right? 1 / 4 Bear witness. #AHSApocalypse pic.twitter.com/oHQEfFsyud— AmericanHorrorStory (@AHSFX) September 8, 2018 This is a surprising one to include, mostly because Elsa's freak show is all the way in Jupiter, FL. Then again, she does move to LA to become a movie star at the end of the season. (You know, before Edward Mordrake claims her.) 2 / 4 No vacancy. #AHSApocalypse pic.twitter.com/NKVReOpoEl— AmericanHorrorStory (@AHSFX) September 8, 2018 I sort of expected that Hotel Cortez might come into play at some point. After all, it's located in LA, and one witch (Queenie) appears during the season. I doubt the hotel will factor heavily into the story, but who knows? Maybe vampires are all the rage after the apocalypse. 3 / 4 Smile. It's the end of the world. #AHSApocalypse. pic.twitter.com/2RXbL9zgfY— AmericanHorrorStory (@AHSFX) September 9, 2018 This one seems like another no-brainer. I mean, we're basically on the verge of a nuclear war in real life, so it's easy to draw a line from Cult to Apocalypse. In fact, we could see how the end of Cult could lead perfectly into the beginning of the season. Never say never! 4 / 4 American Horror Story ApocalypseTheoriesAmerican Horror StoryTV
