After a Night-1 Elimination, Grocery Store Joe May Be Headed to Bachelor in Paradise
It's always a bummer when a nice, funny guy is eliminated on The Bachelorette — especially when it's on the first night. Bachelor Nation was not happy when Becca Kufrin sent home Joe Amabile, the adorable grocer from Chicago. But there's some good news! We have reason to believe that Grocery Store Joe, as Chris Harrison deemed him, is still single, and that makes us happy (for our sake).
The host with the most gave us hope that we may see Joe headed to Bachelor in Paradise season five, which typically premieres in early August.

In back-to-back tweets, Chris said, "#BachelorNation quickly falls in love with #GroceryStoreJoe" and "I hope they have grocery stores in Paradise!!!" He also tweeted back at a fan saying that he "can't confirm or deny" that Joe will be headed Paradise . . . hmm . . .
Although we only got to know Joe for a couple of hours, we can tell he's a total sweetheart. The 31-year-old is close with his mom, has a cute Chicago accent, and drinks Starbucks — what more could you want?! Plus, his future wife is guaranteed a seemingly endless supply of watermelon, which is not a perk to be overlooked here.
