Good News! Jason Is OK After His Bachelorette Breakup, and He's Chilling With Joe the Grocer
After this week's painful elimination of Jason Tartick from The Bachelorette — which Tartick described to Entertainment Tonight as "one of the most empty moments of my life" — the internet was left scrambling to make sure the Buffalo-raised banker was doing OK. We've got good news for those of you wondering where he's at and if he's been able to recover from a broken heart. The dude's doing just fine, especially given the outpouring of support he's received in the last day.
Upon exiting the season, he didn't end up on the set of Bachelor in Paradise — unlike a lot of his other castmates, including Joe the Grocer, Colton Underwood, and Jordan Kimball — which filmed June 1 through June 27. The 29-year-old admitted he wasn't in the right headspace for that at the time and instead returned to a relatively "normal" life to do some mending.
In a Buffalo News article, he said, "I am definitely happy for whatever happens to Becca, I am rooting for her happiness. But I have made a full recovery from the breakup, I'm single, and I have yet to start dating."
Right now, it looks like Jason is living life to the fullest. We've seen him pop up recently in Instagram posts with Bibiana Julian (from Arie Luyendyk's season) sporting a new haircut, fellow East Coast native Joe the Grocer, and even Colton. It looks like he's in the middle of doing a media interview circuit — which is clearly fueling the "Jason for Bachelor!" fire — so you can expect to see and hear more from him on TV, online, and in podcasts in the days and weeks ahead. We have a feeling he's going to stick around in the spotlight for a while . . .
