So many criminals, so little time. The trailer for Netflix's intriguing new series dropped, and it's obvious that Criminal won't be the streaming site's typical crime drama. Set entirely within the confines of a police interrogation room, the four-part anthology takes the standard procedural format to a fascinating new level. "Guilty" or "innocent" won't be so easy to decide, especially when it comes to these "12 unique crime stories."
As shown in the minute-long video above, 12 criminals will enter an interrogation room, and viewers will watch the mental conflict that sparks between the detectives working each case and the suspects they're interviewing. The cases will take place in four different countries (France, Germany, Spain, and the UK), with three episodes devoted to each location. Among the international star-studded cast are David Tennant (Good Omens), Hayley Atwell (Avengers: Endgame), Florence Kasumba (Black Panther), and Sebastian Koch (Bridge of Spies). Keep an eye out for Criminal when it drops on Sept. 20.
