Wondering What The Voice's Many Winners Are Up To? Here's the Scoop

After winning the very first season of The Voice, Javier Colon eventually signed with Concord Music after leaving Universal, releasing his album Gravity in 2016. In an interview with Seth Rudetsky for Playbill, Colon expressed an interest in doing Broadway. From the looks of his Instagram page, he's been dividing his time between music, family, and even karate.

Since his season two win, Jermaine Paul has released a single called "Working Sista" in 2015. Over the last few years, he's also been performing at many different venues, including a gig at the House of Blues in Boston. Paul also recently celebrated his 20th anniversary with his wife at the beginning of 2019, according to his Instagram page.

The former lead vocalist of pop rock band Hey Monday turned to country music after her win on The Voice in season three. As the first female winner of the show, Cassadee Pope has been fairly successful in Nashville; her first solo album with Republic Nashville, Frame by Frame, hit number one on Billboard's US country charts. Her song "Think of You" with Chris Young even received a Grammy nomination. In 2018, she's independently released two singles: "Take You Home" and "One More Red Light."

Danielle Bradbery has come a long way since her sweet, doe-eyed rendition of Taylor Swift's "Mean" in her blind auditions. Working with Big Machine, she's been making noise in Nashville, releasing two albums since her win in 2013. Her latest singles in 2018 include "Worth It" and a duet with country star Thomas Rhett called "Goodbye Summer."

Beloved for her powerhouse vocals, Tessanne Chin has been releasing music here and there after her tenure on The Voice, including her album Count on My Love under Republic Records in 2014. Her later singles include "Love Suicide" in early 2016 and "Somebody Loves You" in 2018. Chin has also been vlogging on her YouTube channel for a webseries called "Closet Therapy."

After winning The Voice, the Indianapolis dad has been involved in many different projects. Shortly after season six, he made his Broadway debut in the Tony-winning Pippin, playing the titular character. He is currently the frontman for the band The New Etiquette.

Craig Wayne Boyd parted ways with Dot Records (a label with Republic Records) shortly after his win on The Voice, but has continued making music ever since. In 2015, he released "I'm Still Here" under his own imprint, then later signed with Copperline Music Group and released his album Top Shelf in late 2017. Besides his career, his family has grown as well. Boyd married Taylor Borland in 2016 and had two more kids!

Folksy teenage wonder Sawyer Fredericks released his EP A Good Storm with Republic Records, touring across 62 shows in the Summer of 2016. He later independently produced his album Hide Your Ghost in 2018. His songs "Silent World" and "This Fire" have respectively appeared on the shows Longmire and Code Black.

Shortly following his time on The Voice, Smith released his debut album Something Beautiful in March 2016. A few months later, he also married his longtime girlfriend Kristen Denny. You may have also heard of this not-so-little song called "Ashes", which he cowrote for Céline Dion to sing for Deadpool 2.

Alisan Porter eventually left her contract with Republic Records, deciding to record independently. In 2017, she released her EP I Come in Pieces, which featured her soulful singles "Deep Water" and "Change." She is set to perform in The Voice alumni showcase project Neon Dreams, which has yet to announce a venue and date after its plans for Vegas shows fell through.

Known for his funky dance moves and soulful sound, Chris Blue started working on his debut album with Republic Records after bringing home the prize for Team Alicia in 2017. He married his English fiancée shortly following his success on the show. In 2018, he also headlined at Tennessee's Smoky Mountain Opry during the holiday season.

Chloe Kohanski dazzled America with her gritty, powerful takes on classics such as "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Landslide." She's been working on new music, including the pop rock anthem "Come This Far" and the more introspective "City Streets." Fans should soon rejoice since the chanteuse is promising that new music is on the way!

Brynn Cartelli's career has been flying ever since she was crowned the winner of The Voice in season 14 under the loving guidance of Kelly Clarkson, the queen of music reality competitions herself. The young singer bowed out of her contract with Republic Records, but has signed with Atlantic Records with Clarkson's husband as her manager. Cartelli has also recently released the single "Last Night's Mascara" and will be going on Clarkson's Meaning of Life Tour in 2019 with Kelsea Ballerini.

Kelly really can't lose. In season 15, she also poached the young champion Chevel Shepherd. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Shepherd noted that she planned to go home and be a normal teenager for a while. Then, the 16-year-old expressed interest in putting together an album with inspiration from female country icons such as Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton.
