From Kelly Clarkson to Beyoncé, 12 Times Stars Performed With Their Kids

Kelly Clarkson brought her two kids out during her Las Vegas residency on 18 Aug., and they lent their talents to her hit "Heartbeat Song." Clarkson shares River Rose and Remington with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. River Rose was born in 2014, while Remy arrived in 2016.

Beyoncé has been featuring daughter Blue Ivy Carter in her music for quite a while. Blue Ivy, who Beyoncé shares with JAY-Z, first appeared on a Beyoncé track in the song "Blue" in 2013. She then lent her vocal skills to "Brown Skin Girl" from 2019's "The Lion King: The Gift" and appeared in the music video with her mum as well. More recently, Blue Ivy joined her mum on her "Renaissance" tour as a backup dancer.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z welcomed Blue Ivy in 2012. Their twins, Sir and Rumi Carter, arrived in 2017.

Pink's daughter Willow, whom she shares with husband Carey Hart, has shown off her own vocal talents multiple times. In June, Willow joined her mum onstage during her Summer Carnival tour, and they performed an impressive rendition of their duet "Cover Me in Sunshine." The pair originally released the song in 2021, and Willow even stars in the track's sweet music video.

Meanwhile, in December 2022, Pink proudly shared her daughter's stunning cover of Olivia Rodrigo's "The Rose Song" on Instagram, saying Willow "nailed it" in her video's caption.

Pink and Hart welcomed Willow in 2011, and their son, Jameson, arrived in 2016.

In 2016, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin brought his two kids, Apple and Moses, out for a performance at Glastonbury Festival. The kids joined him for a rendition of "Up & Up," which their mum Gwyneth Paltrow documented on Instagram.

Since then, the kids have lent their talents to their dad's music more than once. They were both featured on the song "Orphans" from Coldplay's 2019 album "Everyday Life," and Moses also sings on "Humankind" from 2021's "Music of the Spheres," while Apple is credited as a songwriter on the Selena Gomez duet "Let Somebody Go" from the same album.

Martin and ex-wife Paltrow welcomed Apple and Moses in 2004 and 2006, respectively.

Will Smith's son Jaden has a thriving music career of his own, but his famous dad joined him onstage for the first time in 2018 when he appeared onstage during his son's show in Miami. Will excitedly documented the occasion with a YouTube video titled, "My FIRST TIME Performing with Jaden!!"

Of course, the pair are part of a mega-talented family; their mum is Jada Pinkett Smith and Jaden's sister, Willow, also has successful music career which has included multiple collaborations with Jaden, including 2021's hit "Summertime in Paris."

Will and ex-wife Sheree Zampino welcomed Will's oldest son, Trey, in 1992. Will and Jada then welcomed Jaden in 1998 and Willow in 2000.

Jennifer Lopez surprised the crowd when her child Emme stepped out during a performance at Dodger Stadium in 2022. The pair harmonised on a performance of Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" and several other songs, and seemed to love sharing the stage together.

That wasn't the first time the pair have shared a stage, though. Emme stepped out at Lopez and Shakira's Super Bowl performance in 2020 to perform a mashup of "Let's Get Loud" and "Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)" alongside other singers, and Emme and Lopez also performed a duet of "Limitless" in 2019.

Lopez shares twins Emme and Max, born in 2008, with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Eurythmics frontwoman Annie Lennox's daughter Lola has clearly inherited some of her mum's vocal talent. The duo collaborated on the song "There Must Be An Angel" for Global Citizen in 2020, and they've sung together a lot since, performing renditions of "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "Wherever You Go," and more.

Annie shares her two kids, Lola and Tali, with ex-husband Uri Fruchtmann and welcomed them in 1990 and 1993, respectively.

In 2019, Alicia Keys brought her son Egypt out for a performance of her song "Raise A Man," which is a special song dedicated to her son. Egypt joined his mum onstage at the 2019 iHeart Music Awards and even played piano during the performance, showing that he's definitely inherited some musical talent from his mama.

Keys has two kids with husband Swizz Beatz. Egypt arrived in 2010 and Genesis was born in 2014.

Billy Joel's daughter Alexa Ray is a singer-songwriter and classical pianist, and the duo have performed a number of songs together, including a memorable cover of "New York State Of Mind" at Madison Square Garden in 2019. Talent clearly runs in this family!

Billy shares Alexa Ray Joel, born in 1985, with ex-wife Christie Brinkley. His two other children, Della Rose Joel, and Remy Anne Joel, were born in 2015 and 2020 to Billy and his wife Alexis Roderick.

Diana Ross was joined by her daughters Tracee and Rhonda for a performance of "Count on Me" at Radio City in 2022, and Tracee commemorated the event with an Instagram post. "I do big scary things all the time. It's part of the career I built. But singing and singing on stage with my mom makes my legs go like spaghetti," she wrote in the caption.

Diana and Tracee also performed a rendition of Diana's hit "Lady Sings the Blues" in 2015 during a show in Las Vegas. "I think the last time my mom asked me to sing I was 5 or 6 years old," Tracee wrote on Facebook at the time. ". . . All my life I have witnessed her as Diana Ross the icon and Diana Ross the mother, and I have experienced her seamlessly bridge this incredible dichotomy with grace and ease. She is a nurturing and fierce mom, intimate and ancient, in a setting that isn't meant to support mothering: on stage with the whole world watching," Tracee continued. Diana has a total of five kids. Her oldest, Rhonda, arrived in 1971 and Ross shares her with Berry Gordy. She welcomed daughters Tracee and Chudney with ex-husband Robert Ellis Silberstein in 1972 and 1975. She and ex-husband Arne Naess Jr. then welcomed sons Ross in 1987 and and Evan in 1988.
