Brittany Snow has her second series lead role with the new Fox comedy Almost Family, but it's far from her first time in the spotlight. Snow has been working steadily for the past two decades, both on TV and movies. Like many actors, her career started with a soap opera, with a four-year stint (from 1998 to 2002) on Guiding Light. Her biggest TV role to date, however, was from 2002 to 2005 in American Dreams. Snow played Meg Pryor, a teenage girl in the 1960s who danced on the famous American Bandstand show. She told Soap Opera Digest that her American Dreams role, in many ways, prepared her for Almost Family.

"Ever since [American Dreams], I've been looking for a show featuring interesting relationships and subject matter, but also dealt with issues that I could sink my teeth into. It was hard to find that for a long time, and I chose a different path, and now I've found a show that is a lot like American Dreams in terms of family and a specific time frame. I think that's why it really grabbed me, and I feel a responsibility to make sure it's told right."

Between 2006 and 2008, Snow became a staple of teen movies. She broke out as part of the central quartet in John Tucker Must Die, then showed off her musical chops in 2007's Hairspray and dipped into the horror genre with Prom Night in 2008, later revisiting it with Would You Rather. The role that was her big breakout hit, though, was undoubtedly 2012's college acapella comedy Pitch Perfect, in which she played node-suffering second-in-command Chloe. With an unexpectedly huge presence after the first movie, there were two more sequels, both of which included Snow's Chloe again. More recently, she moved into more adult-oriented comedies, such as the Netflix hit Someone Great.

Snow has also had a handful of fun guest roles on a variety of TV shows, including the comedies Ben and Kate, Workaholics, and, most recently, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. We're excited to see Snow leading the way on Almost Family! Keep reading to see her in some of her roles from the past.
