During the 2020 Emmy Awards, the actress popped up to introduce the HBO series as a nominee and simultaneously launched her rap career in the process. It was a hilarious moment, where Union gave a shoutout to Issa Rae, Yvonne Orji, and the plethora of handsome men on the show. She used a makeup brush in lieu of a mic, and rapped, "The show's mad funny. Issa's trying to find herself, and Molly's got money . . . Did I mention in the love scenes they show the boys' booties?!"
