The doctors of Seattle Grace Hospital are teaming up for reproductive justice. On May 19, Shonda Rhimes posted an Instagram video of the "Grey's Anatomy" cast spreading awareness for safe sex. Following the leaked Supreme Court draft threatening to upend Roe v. Wade, countless celebrities are using their platforms to stand up for reproductive rights, so of course our favourite onscreen doctors had to get in on the important conversation. In a partnership with Bedsider, an online birth-control support network for women between the ages of 18 and 29, the familiar faces spliced their advice about effective contraception. Online health clinics are vital in a time when reproductive rights could vary greatly by state.

Together, Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, Kim Raver, Kelly McCreary, Caterina Scorsone, Kevin McKidd, and Kate Burton amplified Bedsider's mission and made it clear that knowing your rights can be just as important as fighting for them. "Knowledge is power. It's time to be in the know. Women are powerful. You are powerful. Being powerful means having options. Know your options," they say in the video.

The PSA also stresses the importance of monitoring for pregnancy and acting quickly, in addition to proactively preventing it. "Take a pregnancy test every four to five weeks," Pompeo says. "Every four to five weeks may sound like a lot, but time is of the essence with the law," Wilson adds. "This is a terrible time, and everyone is afraid. But options keep a women powerful. You are powerful," McKidd finishes.
