Adam Sandler and LeBron James Team Up For Netflix Basketball Drama "Hustle"
Adam Sandler is bringing his hustle to a new Netflix basketball drama. The upcoming film, titled "Hustle," finds Sandler as a down-on-his-luck basketball scout who stumbles upon a superstar player from Spain (Utah Jazz player Juancho Hernangómez in his acting debut) with a rocky past. He brings him back to the States, and together, the two battle the odds to make it to the NBA.
The movie's first teaser trailer arrived on Feb. 18, giving us a taste of Sandler's passionate performance. "Do you love this game? I mean, love it with your whole heart?" he asks in the trailer. "Because if you don't, let's not even bother. Let's not open that door. They're just going to slam it right in our face."
"Hustle" is produced by both Sandler and LeBron James. In addition to Sandler and Hernangómez, the film's cast includes Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, Kenny Smith, Ainhoa Pillet, Raul Castillo, Jordan Elizabeth Hull, Maria Botto, Heidi Gardner, and Robert Duvall. "Hustle" premieres on Netflix on June 10. Watch the trailer above.
