Hear Lana Del Rey Put a Chilling Spin on Ariana Grande's "Break Up With Your Girlfriend"

Lana Del Rey stopped by BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge on Monday and completely blew us away with a cover of Ariana Grande's "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored." After singing her take on Sublime's "Doin' Time," the 34-year-old singer blessed listeners with a haunting rendition of the Thank U, Next hit, and boy, did she nail it. Del Rey's soft, breathy voice combined with stirring background music to give Grande's pop song a wistful, almost otherworldly edge.

Shortly after the cover started making its rounds on social media, Grande tweeted her seal of approval, sharing a clip of Del Rey's stirring performance and writing, "oh my god @lanadelrey i love u so very very much." We stan legends supporting legends!

This sweet interaction comes just a few days before the two artists are set to release a collaborative single titled "Don't Call Me Angel," from the Charlie's Angels soundtrack. The song, which also features Miley Cyrus, is scheduled to drop on Sept. 13, and it's safe to say we're counting down the minutes.
