Popsugar Entertainment Moon Knight Moon Knight: Meet the Cast The Cast of Disney+'s Moon Knight Is So Stacked 25 January 2022 by Michele Mendez Image Source: YouTube user Marvel Entertainment Following the success of Marvel series like WandaVision and Hawkeye in 2021, Disney+ is continuing to add to its roster of MCU series with the March arrival of Moon Knight. Starring Star Wars star Oscar Isaac, Moon Knight will tell the story of a man named Steven Grant who works at a gift shop and experiences blackouts. Grant soon discovers these blackouts occur due to his dissociative identity disorder (DID). As we saw in the official Moon Knight trailer, which dropped on Jan. 17, he's been living a second life as a mercenary named Marc Spector, and as he's coming to terms with his different identities, a mysterious character played by Ethan Hawke appears and tells Grant to embrace the darkness within him, causing him to turn into a superhero fittingly named Moon Knight. Here are all the stars who are set to appear in the highly anticipated show. 1 Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight Image Source: Getty/ Jamie McCarthy Isaac, who's most known for his roles as Poe Dameron in the most recent Star Wars trilogy and Duke Leto Atreides in the 2021 adaptation of Dune, will portray Moon Knight, aka Marc Spector/Steven Grant. Isaac's role in the upcoming Disney+ series will mark his second role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, following his cameo as Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099 in the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. During an October 2021 interview with Variety, Isaac told the publication playing Moon Knight has been so rewarding for him as an actor. "I found so much room to do things that I've never done before and had been curious about and wanting to do," he revealed. "I could not wait to get to set, and it was the biggest workload I've ever had in my career and most challenging by the sheer amount of stuff we had to do in eight months, and even yet, I couldn't wait to get to set and work." 1 / 5 2 Ethan Hawke as Arthur Harrow Image Source: Getty/ Dimitrios Kambouris According to the Moon Knight trailer, Hawke, who you may recognise from movies like The Purge, The Magnificent Seven, and Cut Throat City, will appear on the show as a cult leader who encourages Steven to "embrace the chaos" within him.
