Rosa's cancer gets worse in season two, despite her weekly chemotherapy treatments. After being told she has only weeks to live, she steals a prison van (with the help of Morello) and escapes. Along the road, she spots a fleeing Vee and runs her over, and later she drives the bus off a cliff into a quarry, thus taking her own life.
