After Life sees British funnyman Ricky Gervais turn to dark humour in this six-part sitcom about grief. Following the death of his wife to cancer, Tony (Ricky Gervais) has suicidal tendencies as he struggles to deal with the loss, losing the will to live. Rejecting the idea of death because he has to look after his dog, he decides to ignore his moral compass, which proves to be harder than he thinks. Much like Fleabag, After Life is brutally honest, portraying life's harder moments in a realistic yet hilarious way.
