This song is so soft, slow, and beautiful, it honestly gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. Historically, Randy Houser has been a little more loud and fast-paced, but "Evangeline" is a breath of fresh air. Personally, I feel that the country community ignored the Magnolia album as a whole and, as a result, missed the brilliance of "Evangeline." I'm not leaving my wedding until I slow dance to this song.
