I didn't hear about Jake Scott until earlier in 2019, and when he released "Yours," I completely fell in love with his music. At first listen, I thought this was a love song until I really focussed on the lyrics and realised how intense they were (spoiler alert: opposite of a love song.) This is a gem of 2019 that we must take into 2020, reaffirming that getting rid of toxic people is important.
