Mara Wilson played several notable roles in the '90s in movies such as Mrs. Doubtfire and Matilda, but after her years of child stardom, Wilson decided that Hollywood just wasn't for her. "Acting is something I did when I was a kid," she told Parade Magazine in 2013. "I do act sometimes in friends' projects but, when I do, it's just for fun. It is actually a hobby for me now. I do still love stage acting, but the day-to-day process of being an actor is so exhausting and so taxing." Now Wilson works as a professional writer, even publishing a memoir, Where Am I Now?: True Stories of Girlhood and Accidental Fame, in 2016.
