As a budding photographer, Sprouse is always exploring Vancouver on the weekend. "He's always scouting for locations. He'll be like, 'Anybody want to be my test subject for this location I'm at?'" Petsch told Glamour. Sprouse also encourages other castmates to go out and explore the city. "When we're filming, Cole encourages us, 'Go out and travel on the weekends when you're not filming!'"
