Inside the O'Briens by Lisa Genova

"My [favourite] book I've read during quarantine is Inside the O'Briens by Lisa Genova. The similarity of being in quarantine and living with a case of Huntington's disease was relatable. Both quarantine and Huntington's disease are a feeling of being trapped in a situation which you have no control and happened unexpectedly. They both affect your family negatively even though you wish you could do anything to help them. In the novel Inside the O'Briens as well as life during quarantine you have two options, to give up or to fight your best to live a good life in the moment. Although Huntington's disease is a life-changing disease with no cure and quarantine will soon be over, the message remained the same; quoting from the novel, 'You are now here or you are no where.'"
