Lillie Vale's rom-com debut The Shaadi Set-Up finds a successful woman named Rita Chitniss questioning all of her romantic choices. When her ex shows up in hopes that she'll help him flip a house, Rita makes profiles for herself and her boyfriend on a famed Desi matchmaking site in hopes of proving they're perfect for one another. Instead, she ends up matched with her troublesome ex and questioning whether her current relationship is as perfect as she thought.
