Elle Woods may be a badass in the court room, but Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) is a badass in the publishing industry. Hard-nosed boss Margaret doesn't go easy on her assistant editor Andrew (Ryan Reynolds). But when her immigration status is in question, she doesn't hesitate to bribe him to help her stay in the United States. She proposes a fake relationship, even travelling to his parents' home in Alaska for a getaway. What neither of them expect is for everything to change in that one weekend.
