When "Dawson's Creek" first starts, it seems obvious that the show is aiming to pair up childhood BFFs Dawson and Joey. Over the first few seasons, though, it becomes clear that there's a noticeable connection brewing between Joey and Pacey instead, as their bickering starts to sound more like flirting.
