For the first two seasons of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," the romantic tension slowly developed between colleagues Jake and Amy, despite their very different personalities. It takes a major shift in the dynamics at their station for Jake to finally go in for the kiss during a conversation with Amy, but it's absolutely worth the turmoil to get there.
