Pink's Daughter, Willow, Will Work Backstage on Tour

Pink’s 11-Year-Old Daughter Willow Will Have a Job on Tour and a Minimum Wage Salary

Pink's upcoming world tour will be a family affair. The singer appeared on "Lorraine" on 22 Feb. to discuss her ninth studio album, "Trustfall", and revealed that her 11-year-old daughter will actually be working backstage while her mum performs. "She has a job on tour, she works dancers quick change," Pink said. "She works hard too — two hours — it's full on, so she earns that money."

And Pink is paying Willow, too. Although the "So What" singer told the Today show a day earlier that her negotiation skills need a little wortk. "We just had to go over minimum wage and it's different state to state. I said it's about $22.50 a show depending how long I go, if I run over. She goes, 'I'll take $20. it's easier to do the math.' I'm like 'That's not how you negotiate for yourself.' I'm like, 'You'll take $25 so it's easier math'", she laughed.

Pink has previously spoken of her daughter's musical talents, having shared her Olivia Rodrigo cover in December, and duetted with her on a track titled "Cover Me In Sunshine" in 2021, but the pre-teen isn't fussed by the limelight. "She's very unbothered by it all. She couldn't care less," Pink said on "Lorraine". "I had her come out at BottleRock in front of 40,000 people and sing her 'Cover Me in Sunshine' and she was so unfazed. I leaned down, I was like 'are you ok baby, wave' and she goes, 'can I go eat my candy?' And I'm like 'that's all you're thinking about?!'"

Pink, who shares her daughter and 6-year-old son Jameson with husband Carey Hart, also opened up about her kid's personalities. "Willow is such a rule follower, which is so weird to me. She gets like straight As and she's brilliant and I'm like 'who are you? You didn't come out of me!' But she's amazing and Jameson's a little comedian."

As she prepares for her tour and those jaw-dropping acrobatics she's become so known for, she refers to her shows as "group therapy" and a way for all her fans to work through their "demons". Pink's career has spanned over two decades, and as such, "Im a Celeb"'s Scarlette Douglas, who was interviewing the popstar for the ITV show, revealed that she is the most played female artist of the 21st century in the UK. "That's a very strange sentence," Pink replied. When asked how it made her feel, she responded, "Embarrased. I don't do well with positive reinforcement." She'd better get used to it as we have a feeling 2023 will be a very positive year for the Pink family.
