Selling Sunset Season 6: Cast, Trailer, Release Date

Christine Quinn Is Out and Bre Tiesi Is In in the "Selling Sunset" Season 6 Teaser Trailer

Season six of Selling Sunset is around the corner, and there's officially a release date and teaser trailer previewing what's to come between the show's familiar cast members, as well as some new faces.

After an explosive season five, which saw Christine Quinn quit The Oppenheim Group and Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim split over their opposing views on having kids, "Selling Sunset" will indeed be back with even more drama in its latest season. Netflix renewed the show for seasons six and seven in January 2022, and a source told Us Weekly at the time that the cast is "very excited" about the show's future. Here's what we know about season six.

"Selling Sunset" Season 6 Teaser Trailer

The season six trailer, which dropped on 20 April, showcases the cast giving vague — but telling — insight into their storylines for the season as they walk through glamorous homes. For example, Stause teases, "I know people think I'm having a midlife crisis, but I'm having an awakening," alluding to her relationship with Australian artist, G-Flip. Heather Rae El Moussa shares, "I'm going to be a rockstar mummy, and also a rockstar business woman," hinting that her pregnancy will play a role in the new season.

Mary Fitzgerald alludes to Quinn's exit, saying, "I don't think I'll really miss Christine, so it's probably for the best that she's gone. But I am nervous about the new dynamic," before one of the season's newcomers, Bre Tiesi, appears on the screen, saying, "I'm kind of a mirror. Whatever you give me is what you're going to get."

"Selling Sunset" Season 6 Cast

"Selling Sunset" season six will welcome some newcomers to the cast, while one veteran member will leave the real estate franchise for good. Despite Us Weekly's May 2022 report of Quinn saying she'll "absolutely" return to the show next season, Variety confirmed on 17 Aug., 2022, that she's exited the reality series for good.

The news comes after a source told Us Weekly in April 2022 that Quinn parted ways with The Oppenheim Group. "It was Christine's decision to leave the Oppenheim Group," the source confirmed. Quinn's former boss Jason also addressed her status at his company during the "Selling Sunset" season five reunion, where he said, "Right now, there's not a place for her at The Oppenheim Group." Quinn has yet to publicly address her exit from the Netflix show.

Meanwhile, on 4 Aug., People reported Tiesi has been tapped to join seasons six and seven of "Selling Sunset." Tiesi, a model who was looking to start up a long-term career when she made the switch to real estate, gave birth to her 5-week-old son, Legendary — whom she shares with her partner, Nick Cannon — in July 2022. Will Legendary and Cannon make any appearances on the reality show along with Tiesi? "I'm not going to necessarily hide [Legendary] from anything," Tiesi told People about the possibility. "It is what it is between his dad and I. He's still obviously so little, so I will protect him from the majority of it for a little while."

Additionally, Nicole Young, who's been an Oppenheim Group agent for over a decade, joins the show's cast this season. Young told People there's a reason you didn't see her in prior seasons, despite her history with the firm. "Originally, I was a part of the main cast," she said. "Honestly, at the time, I just got cold feet right before they were going to start filming. I just wasn't ready to expose my entire life, and even more so, my clients and business — which I'm very protective of — to the entire world."
