Showtime's Trailer For The Man Who Fell to Earth Has Finally Landed

Attention, sci-fi fans! On Jan. 18, Showtime dropped the first trailer for its upcoming series The Man Who Fell to Earth, starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Naomie Harris. The Showtime series cast also includes Josh Herdman, Kate Mulgrew, Jimmi Simpson, Clarke Peters, and Rob Delaney. In the 30-second teaser, we meet a human-like alien named Faraday (Ejiofor), who's struggling to make sense of his purpose after landing on Earth for reasons unknown. Meanwhile, we see Justin Falls (Harris) befriend Faraday while trying to help him fulfil his Earthly duties. "You have the chance to change the future," she says in the clip.

The series, which is slated for a spring release on Showtime, is based on Walter Tevis's 1963 book of the same name. In 1976, a film adaptation, also titled The Man Who Fell to Earth, famously starred David Bowie. Watch the first trailer above!
