I'm kind of obsessed with Beth Pearson's style on This Is Us. It seems like every episode, no matter how hard I cry, I always find a Beth Pearson outfit to appease me. The great Super Bowl episode was pretty sad, but Beth's cool cutout turtleneck got me through. And even though fashion girls appreciate Rebecca's '70s-inspired boho looks, I love a mom with a modern, kickass wardrobe.
Throughout Kate and Toby's wedding in the season 2 finale, I was in a sweaty, panicked state, full of questions about the flash forwards: does Toby fall back into depression?! Who are Randall and Tess nervous to visit? One question I did not have at this time was whether or not Beth Pearson was the most impeccably dressed wedding guest. She definitely was.
She did not wear white, she did not wear black. She did not overstep the bride by opting for something flashy. She chose the perfect 2018 shade of pink, which suited her just right. The silhouette of her one-shoulder midi flattered her curves and her impressively toned arms. The ruffled neckline and the fluted hem brought about an unexpected girlie vibe, which is quite nice, seeing as Beth is usually pretty tough.
