Popsugar Fashion Award Season Who Didn't Wear Black to the Golden Globes 2018 These Women Took Their Black Gowns to the Next Level at the Golden Globes 14 January 2018 by Marina Liao Image Source: Getty The question wasn't if stars were going to wear black to the Golden Globes, but how. The universally flattering colour was used as a powerful symbol to protest sexual harassment in Hollywood, and almost every major star showed up in black to stand in solidarity. A handful of attendees didn't wear black at all, for cultural reasons or otherwise, but the carpet was largely a sea of black with pops of colour. Some women got creative with their looks, whether it was incorporating a design on their black gown or accessorising with bold jewellery. With the help of their stylists, nominees like Margot Robbie and Saoirse Ronan went outside of the box when dressing in black, and we couldn't help but notice.
